Volunteers are an essential part of the work that we do. Our staff oversees the care and well-being of over 80 animals each and every day, but there is so much more that goes into making a sanctuary work.
Fund-raising is key to the financial health of our rescues. We are currently looking for volunteers who want to help with our fundraising events which include soliciting businesses for donations, as well as planning and working at the events.
On-Site Volunteers assist in the maintenance and construction of existing and future enclosures, facility clean up, digging post holes, planting trees, roof repair, painting and other jobs necessary as determined by Staff. Volunteers must be at least 21 years of age, have no physical limitations, be ready to work in all type of weather (especially rain), be able to lift a minimum of 30 lbs. and be comfortable on ladders. There is no contact between volunteers and the wildcat rescues. Currently we are seeking volunteers to help with a wide variety of tasks in Scotts Mills, OR. Most work is being done both during the week and on the weekends.
We are looking for folks who have a passion for our mission and a desire to help us make a difference! Bring your enthusiasm and professional attitude and join us to create a better life for our wildcat rescues!
